Refund policy

All sales are final. Every Moonlight Kitty set is hand-painted by me in very small numbers, and press-on nails are a personal item worn against your nail bed. Once a set has left my hands I can’t resell it — so I’m not able to accept returns, refunds, exchanges or cancellations for a change of heart, for a colour that reads a little differently in person, or for a set that turns out to be the wrong size.

Sizing is the one part that’s yours — and I’ll help all I can

Please measure your nails before every order, ready-made sets included. It takes about three minutes with a strip of tape and a ruler, and it’s the single biggest thing between you and a set that looks salon-made. Measure across each nail at its widest point, match your numbers to my size chart, and if you land between two sizes, always take the larger one. A nail that runs a touch wide files down along the sides in seconds. A nail that’s too small can’t be made bigger — it leaves your natural nail showing at the edges, never sits flush on the nail bed, and lifts far sooner. How to measure → · Size chart →

Because choosing the right size is the customer’s responsibility, I’m not able to offer a refund or an exchange for a set that doesn’t fit. If you’re even a little unsure, message me before you order — I’d so much rather help you choose than have you end up with a set that doesn’t sit right.

If your order arrives damaged

This is the one exception to final sale, and I’ll always look after you here. If your set arrives damaged, I offer an exchange for the damaged item. Here’s what I need:

• Message me at moonlightkittynailswork@gmail.com within 14 days of the delivery date, with your order number.
• Include clear photos of the damaged item and of the packaging it arrived in.

Once I’ve confirmed the damage, I’ll send your exchange free of charge, and you don’t need to post anything back. Requests made after 14 days, or without photo proof, can’t qualify for an exchange — so please do open your parcel and check it over as soon as it lands.

And if I’ve simply sent you the wrong set, that one’s my mistake to fix — just message me and I’ll put it right.

Custom sets

Custom sets are painted to your own measurements and your own design, so they can’t be resold at all. They’re final in every case, with the same single exception for damage above. Custom orders ask for your millimetre measurements rather than a size letter, so please measure carefully before you send your form.
