Please measure before every order — ready-made sets included. It takes about three minutes, and it's the single biggest thing between you and a set that looks salon-made. Even if you've worn press-ons before, nail sizes aren't standard across brands, so it's always worth measuring fresh against my chart.
How to measure
- Place a strip of clear tape across the widest part of your nail.
- Mark each side of the nail on the tape with a pen.
- Peel the tape off and lay it flat on a ruler.
- Read the distance between the marks in millimetres.
- Write it down, then repeat for every finger.
Do all ten fingers separately — your two hands are almost certainly not identical, and the difference is usually enough to matter.
Then match your numbers to my chart
Take your ten measurements over to the sizing guide and find the band that fits best — XS, S, M or L. That's the size you choose on the product page, and I'll pack the ten nail sizes that match it. Size 0 is the widest and size 9 is the narrowest.
Between two sizes? Always go up
If your measurements land between two sizes, choose the larger one — the wider nail, the lower number. A nail that's slightly too wide files down along the sides in seconds and then sits beautifully. A nail that's too small can't be made bigger: it leaves your natural nail showing at the edges, it never sits flush on the nail bed, and it lifts far sooner. Sizing up is always the better call, for both the look and the wear.
Ordering custom? Send me the millimetres, not a size
For a custom set the raw measurements are all I need. Put the ten numbers into the custom order page and I'll match every nail against my own tips myself — the most reliable way to get a set that fits, and it means you never have to work out which size number you are.
Those numbers refer to the tips I paint on, not to an industry standard — brands differ by a millimetre or two, and a chart from somewhere else won't map cleanly onto mine.
A note on shape
Nail sizes don't carry across shapes and lengths — the tips are cut differently. If you've ordered before and you're switching shape, measure again rather than reusing your old numbers.
